Portrait of an American Hero
Clebe McClary had won scholarships, taught Sunday school, and set a state record in the mile run. The Marines pulled him from the rank-and-file and sent him to officer's training. Lt. Clebe McClary was behind enemy lines in Vietnam when his life was nearly taken. "In my childhood," he said, "so many people told me I was a Christian, I believed them." But it was only after almost losing his life that he truly found it, in Jesus Christ.
Presented the Bronze and Silver Stars by the President of the United States, awarded three Purple Hearts and the George Washington Medal of Freedom; Clebe is now a soldier for God. His unforgettable story will be an inspiration to your family or group.
"Clebe's tremendous courage is an inspiration to all who have read or heard his story." Tom Landry |
